What are your check-in and check-out times?
Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Guests are welcome to arrive early and enjoy the beach, restaurants, or luggage storage while we prepare their room.
Can I check in early?
Early check-in may be available based on occupancy and room availability. We recommend contacting the Front Desk on the day of your arrival, and our team will do everything possible to accommodate your request.
Can I request a late check-out?
Yes. Late check-out requests are accommodated whenever possible based on availability. Please contact the Front Desk during your stay to inquire.
Can I store my luggage before check-in or after check-out?
Yes. Complimentary luggage storage is available before check-in and after check-out, allowing you to maximize your time enjoying Folly Beach without carrying your bags.
Do you offer on-site parking?
Yes. On-site parking is available exclusively for registered hotel guests for a fee and is restricted to one vehicle per reservation. Please contact the hotel for current parking rates and details.
Do you provide airport transportation?
While Tides Folly Beach does not offer an airport shuttle, our team is happy to recommend rideshare services or taxi companies to and from Charleston International Airport. Additionally, our concierge with On The Coast, can arrange private transfers.
How far is Charleston International Airport from Tides Folly Beach?
Charleston International Airport (CHS) is approximately 21 miles from Tides Folly Beach, or about a 35–45 minute drive depending on traffic.
Do you provide beach chairs and umbrellas?
Yes. Beach chairs are available for hotel guests at no charge, making it easy to enjoy a comfortable day on the sand just steps from your room. Chairs are checked out at the Kiosk behind the Tiki bar at Pinky’s. These chairs offer a shade covering, a cup holder and neck pillows to make your beach day relaxing. One chair per registered guest can be picked up starting at 9 am until 4pm. We ask that all chairs are returned no later than 6 pm. We recommend you bring your own umbrella, purchase one from Roasted Coffee + Shop or rent one from our friends with Folly Beach Chair Co. if you are looking for extra shade.
Do you provide beach towels?
Currenly, we only provide guests with towels for use at the pool. Beach towels are avaialble for purchase in Roasted Coffee + Shop.

Is the pool open year-round?
Our heated oceanfront pool is open year-round, weather permitting. Hours may vary seasonally.
